Aro was quite well designed for the day - remember it was build starting 1972. Superb front individual suspension, nice engine.
Unfortunately, it remained at that stage. Basically minor improvements.
Factory was sold to a US "investor" for 150.000 USD, but under a contract where he was obliged to modernize the factory and invest some millions in it. He instantly sold everything for scrap and took the first flight to US.
Looks like the world economy wants us to be consumers not manufacturers...
